2026/2027 FULL ACADEMIC YEAR

Below shows a breakdown of student rates by room type. Students applying to stay at Glasán student village enter into a Lease Agreement to occupy the property for the tenancy period and are liable for rent during this term.

• 1st Rental payment will fall due as of the 15th of August 2026. All subsequent rental payments will be due on the 15th of each month, rent is collected 2 weeks in advance.
• All payments to be paid through your student portal.
• Applications made after the 15th of August 2026 will need to pay in full within 24 hours.

Lease Dates: Monday 31st August 2026 – Friday 28th May 2027 

*Utilities Payment Breakdown: Your utilities payment will be due on the 1^st of September 2026. This fee covers TV,  TV licence, WIFI, waste collection, contribution towards Security, external common area maintenance and electricity. Also included in the fee are a Bill management fee of €50, which is non refundable and An electricity prepayment €750. Each house/apartment is metered for pre-pay electricity, and is topped up monthly over the course of the academic year. Our current prepay provider is PrePay Power. The pre-pay meters allow students to monitor and have greater control over their electricity usage on a daily basis. In the unlikely event that a house/apt runs out of electricity credit between top-ups they simply go onto the App and make a top up. At the end of the academic year if credit remains on the meter this will be reimbursed equally among all residents in the house/apt.

Booking/Security Deposit: An amount equal to one months rent is payable once you have been offered a room and is refundable after the end of the academic year less damages or missing items. Wear & tear is taken into consideration, but excessive damage is payable by the student. A full statement of account will be available to each resident through their Student Portal to coincide with deposit return. Payment of deposit can only be made online through our TCAS online Student Portal, On the offer of a room, each applicant is provided with their own individual Username and Password to access the Glasan Student Portal.

Key Deposit A €15 Key charge will apply if keys are not returned at the end of the academic year, in good working condition (deducted from the booking/security deposit)

All Payments are made online through your student portal for tracking purposes; Deposits are refundable within 6-8 weeks after the end of the lease agreement.
